Football Focus DC – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all football coaching, training sessions, matches, camps, courses and related services (“Services”) provided by Football Focus DC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By registering your child for any Services, you (“Parent/Guardian”) confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your child (“Participant”).

1. Definitions
1.1. Participant means the child enrolled in the Services.
1.2. Parent/Guardian means the parent or legal guardian responsible for the Participant.
1.3. Services refers to all football training sessions, programmes, camps, events, classes or other activities provided by Football Focus DC.

2. Registration & Eligibility
2.1. All Participants must be registered before taking part in any sessions.
2.2. Registration is only complete once all required forms have been submitted and full payment has been received.
2.3. Parents/Guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including medical, emergency contact and dietary requirements.
2.4. We reserve the right to refuse participation if registration information is incomplete or if participation poses a risk to health and safety.

3. Fees, Payment & Refunds
3.1. Fees are as published on our website or other communication and must be paid in full prior to commencement of the Services.
3.2. Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms.
3.3. Fees are non-refundable once the term or course has started, except at our discretion or where required by law.
3.4. We may offer a trial session at our discretion; attendance of a trial is acceptance of these Terms.

4. Participant Conduct
4.1. Participants must listen to and follow instructions given by our coaches and staff.
4.2. Disruptive, unsafe or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated; persistent issues may result in removal from sessions with no entitlement to refund.
4.3. Participants must wear appropriate clothing, footwear and protective equipment (e.g., shin pads) as required.

5. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
5.1. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child before the session begins and after it ends.
5.2. Children must be signed in and out at the appropriate times.
5.3. Parents/Guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, learning needs or other requirements prior to participation.

6. Health, Safety & Welfare
6.1. Participation in sport involves inherent risk of injury; Parents/Guardians acknowledge this risk and agree that Participants attend at their own risk.
6.2. Coaches will take reasonable care to safeguard Participants but cannot guarantee prevention of all injuries.
6.3. In emergencies, we will seek medical treatment for a Participant where necessary and contact the Parent/Guardian as soon as possible.

7. Liability
7.1. We do not accept liability for loss or damage to personal property.
7.2. We only accept liability for personal injury if it is directly caused by our proven negligence.
7.3. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Media, Photos & Privacy
8.1. Photographs and videos may be taken during activities for promotional or training purposes. You may opt out in writing if you do not wish your child to be filmed or photographed.
8.2. Personal information provided to us will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant UK data protection laws (including UK GDPR).

9. Code of Conduct – Parents & Spectators
9.1. Parents, guardians and spectators must behave respectfully to staff, coaches and Participants at all times.
9.2. Inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the venue or restriction from future sessions.

10. Changes to Terms
10.1. We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.
10.2. Significant changes will be communicated in advance; continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
